Registration is now open for an intensive training course.
Sawa Foundation announces the opening of registration for a training program on:
"Providing Initial Psychological Counseling and Support and Intervention in Times of Crisis".
Location: The training will be held in person in Ramallah.
Duration: 70 training hours, including 10 hours of practical training.
Time: Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Eligibility Requirements
- Belief in equality and advocacy for the rights of children and women.
- Residence in Ramallah, Palestine.
- A university degree in one of the humanities disciplines.
- Commitment to completing 140 hours of practical training starting from the course completion date.
- Volunteering will involve answering calls to the Palestinian Women and Child Protection Hotline 164.
At the end of the program
- Participants will receive a paid training grant.
- Participants will receive a certificate of training and volunteering for 210 hours upon completion of all their commitments.
- Participants will be qualified to answer incoming calls at the organization's listening center, handle emergencies and crises, and provide appropriate interventions.
Registration fee: 110 NIS
