Duty Officer Job Announcement
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or Sociology
- At least two years of experience in social services and psychotherapy/psychological counseling
- Experience working with victims and survivors of various forms of violence
- Experience in case management and providing initial psychosocial support over the phone to women and children
- Sufficient knowledge of issues related to gender-based violence
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A sense of responsibility
- Proficiency in English
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working in accordance with the principles and values of the Sawa Foundation, and adhering to confidentiality and privacy
- Working in coordination with the direct supervisor administratively and professionally
- Ensuring that counselors comply with the rules of the remote counseling center
- Monitoring the administrative matters of counselors (absences, lateness, leave, and breaks)
- Preparing and following up on daily and monthly reports for counselors
- Attending individual and group supervision sessions
- Proficient in using computer programs
- Performing any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor
