SAWA Organization works on networking and building partnerships with companies concerned with the latest communication technologies to serve the community. SAWA relies on a team of well-trained counselors and volunteers with high professional expertise, qualified to support beneficiaries of its services with complete confidentiality and privacy.
It is the first of its kind in Palestine, offering distinguished services that include reporting harassment in public places and booking appointments with a specialized doctor for remote medical consultations. The application can be downloaded on all smart devices running Android and iOS, and it is compliant with the remote medical consultation certification.
Features of the SAWA App
- The ability to contact SAWA by phone or via messaging, and to speak with a psychosocial counselor through the application.
- The ability to book an appointment with a general practitioner to receive free remote medical consultation via audio and video.
- The ability to report incidents of harassment and document them on a global map to identify areas that may pose risks to women, enabling them to choose safer routes.
- The ability to contact the police and emergency medical services.
