Remote Counseling Cente

The Remote Counseling Center is one of Sawa’s core programs. It operates a free three-digit hotline (164) that provides initial psychological and social support, as well as medical and legal guidance, through phone calls and online chat. The center serves women, children, and all members of society who have experienced various forms of violence, abuse, or neglect. It also offers referral and accompaniment services to relevant institutions when needed, ensuring comprehensive and effective support for every case.

All staff members at the Remote Counseling Center undergo intensive training to enhance their professional competence before beginning service delivery. They are continuously supervised by specialized professionals to ensure the quality and sustainability of the support provided.

Remote Counseling Center Services

• Psychological Support and Initial Counseling:
Providing psychological guidance on various life issues and offering initial psychological support to callers.

• Medical Consultation:
Enabling callers to connect with a general practitioner for medical advice.

• Legal Consultation:
Offering comprehensive legal consultations and clarifying the necessary legal procedures.

• Speech Therapy:
A dedicated service for children who experience speech difficulties or stuttering, as well as their families, through communication with a specialized speech therapist.

• Information and Referral Service:
Responding to callers’ inquiries across various topics and providing them with the necessary information.

Reporting Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) by Humanitarian Workers:
Sawa serves as an official reporting channel for cases of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) committed by personnel working in the humanitarian sector in Palestine.

Reporting Online Abuse or Digital Threats:
Sawa is a trusted partner of Meta, working to reduce incidents of discrimination, hate speech, harassment, and extortion across social media platforms — including images, messages, and videos.
